Science is brewing in progress!

MOYASHIMON! SCIENCE IS BREWING DESU~

and that even microbes are having their own plushies made in the year of 2008!

lol.

i had a real fantastic scientific week ever, oh my god, am i in love with science!

Mythbuster
The only reason that got me looking forward to every Thursday nights, what's more kewl than doing the myths out themselves more than telling tales of them?
This week is rather interesting. I'm pretty sure people had actually heard of bulls[especially fighting bulls, u know...those bulls that kept charging at those cowboys swinging a big red sheets?] are irritated by the color red and thus wanting to stab those o'mighty sharp horns into you.

well, actually. That's not true. Bulls do charge towards you even if u are waving a white sheet! The reason is fairly simple : As we all know, bulls are aggressive in nature, and that if they detect any movement, it will just charge mindlessly into that direction where the amount of movement is huge.

And yea, just for information sake, bulls are not colorblind. Yet they see things differently from us, humans. Our eyes are equipped with 3 different color waves; enabling us to differentiate colors and for the bulls, their eyes can only see 2 different color waves...thus seeing the world in a much duller state than we humans do.

it's really very epic, Mythbusters is a real entertainment despite their chimlogy employed in the show. but hey, if dumb people like me can enjoy, everyone else can too! so do really watch this show if its available to you.

I didn't know that!
Yes, it's the name of a tv show. My sister kept asking me on what i was watching, until she realised that "I didn't know that!" is a tv show name. lol.
This week's episode simply rocks. It talks about yawning and another interesting statement : Natural red-haired people tend to endure more pain than the rest of people whom have different color of hair.

As we all know, yawning is infectious, but why?
It was thought that the reason as to why we yawn was to take in more oxygen, however it was later found out that...that wasnt the case.
in the show, one scientist thrived to seek an answer. He carried out several tests on obliging parties to find out the answer. It turned out to be that different people had different reactions on the tests itself...and also, the conclusion to why those who yawn, yawn when people around the room yawn or when reading about a scenario in a book about yawning is mainly because they tried to put themselves into the shoes of the other side!
isnt this interesting? i was like "O___Olll" when i knew about this.

next, yea, even i was surprised to why natural red-hair people tend to endure more pain than others. You might be wondering why has red-haired people got linked to pain. It is because in the labs, one scientist noticed that those red-haired lab rats has a high enduring of pain than the rest of the different hair-colored rats. What's more interesting that, the natural red pigment that cause the rats to have red hair growing is the same towards to those red-haired human beings!

Thus the linkage. They took out a simple test. they got one natural red-hair person and a non red-haired person and tested out on their endurance of pain.
surprisingly enough, it was proven that the red-haired person indeed been able to endure more pain than the other party!

OWNAGE MAN! lol, Saturday evenings had never been that interesting before without this show!
