twist of fate
people once said "sometimes, to get missed out of events may not be a bad thing, for maybe the next thing you encounter would have been a better one"
.....or somewhere along the lines.
I myself never doubted that in the first place, cause I have been personally went through the said sentence for countless times ever since school reopens.
the above mentioned sentence made its wonder once again today, for example. I was running late for my classes and that I missed the train that left not soon ago. (which i dont really mind after knowing the next train comes about in 2 minutes.)
I was rather sleepy even when I'm waiting for the train to arrive at the station, and when it did, i walked in a half-sleep-half-awake way when suddenly someone behind me muttered my name.
That voice...!
I was awoken instantly, as if some seal in me was released or something(gawd, too much rpg for me!)
I wasnt able to recognize the person who called me but the familiar smile drew on her face aided me in recognizing this said person. It turned out to be Cui Fen.
I was really thrilled to see her, cause I too also have not seen her for a long time as well.(man, fate must have known that I missed my old friends a lot, keep letting me to bump into them. =D)
we have quite a small chat(after all, she's dropping off 2 stops later ; w ;) but at least i got to see her long last, so was rather glad.
