A very late post : The trip to the Kallang Stadium!
okay, a real late post, but late is always better never, so here goes, I will be penning down the thoughts as to why i took all these (weird) pictures, so I shall cut the chase short and present you my *cough* masterpieces...LOL.
do note that I'm in no way a professional photographer, so please, IF IT HURT YOUR EYES, I'M AFRAID THAT I HAVE NO MOOLAHS TO HEAL YOUR EYES!
i kid, there's no picture of me, so rest assured your eyes will be very safe, oh come on...it's history I'm talking about!
Just want to take the last picture of our soon-gone Kallang Stadium's map, next time I can show my grandkids(if i can live that long to see them. LOL) that this is how one of Singapore heritage looked like!
The first thing that greeted you while walking from the West Entrance, which apparently, i supposed this should be the main entrance. Notice that it's rather dark in the picture, cause there's a little drizzle happening when i was waiting for the rest of my cca members to gather.
The foundation stone which was founded at the year of 1970, but just judging the condition of the stone plate itself, it should be evident enough that it stood real long, rain or shine, heck there's even cracks appearing on the surface already.
Oh look! It's teh mirage!!!111ONEONE!
nah.
Just water puddles. XD
personally, I liked the way how this picture turned out, kinda loved that reflective-ish effect on the banner.Another living proof how long this structure had been up till, even the exterior of the light-bulb holder had long been clustered full of rust!
The inside of the Kallang Stadium, yea...it's already drizzling when we are taking the photos, thus it's rather dark(dont let the blue sky fool you!)
Seems to be the security guard corner, as there's a room which seems like a gym or something at the back(didnt really bother to read the banner on top of it, LOL) For now, there's not even a single soul in there and it seems that i-presumed-its-a-gym had long been emptied out too.
if anyone could still recall their primary 5 days, this is the place where you should keep a lookout for if you want to sing along those songs that those chosen school choirs(which managed to get bronze and above for the Singapore Youth Festival) are singing and not forgetting the information of the performance group was also displayed there as well. For now, the only useful part of this screen....is that it can tell the time.A trash bin that had been tucked aside, I call this 'isolation'.
the long meandering route to nowhere.
Indeed, Singapore is a truly 'fine' country, I shall leave it at that.Seeing a vast line of empty seats, i couldnt resist myself playing with my hp's cam color filter function and take down this shot. ^^;
This time, the same line of seats, but shooting a bunch of empty seats looked rather boring, so my hand itched and my brain moved a inch, and thus i placed my bag on one of the seats, making it an object of attraction.
Life, it blossoms at any corner, even on the hardest material, it can also find its place right there. So stay strong and brave, everyone! :)
I was rather appalled the fact that I found this whole new bundle of brand new black plastic bag laying on the floor. So much for saving the environment.
A flaw found, this probably will drive any perfectionist crazy.
Doesnt it looked like it was taken from some New York train stations? I do feel that way though, for some reasons....
This can be deciphered through 2 ways, romantic and non-romantic.
Romantic : I write to you, my love and that....
Non-romantic(ah beng version): I tell you ar, you better return my that sum of money otherwise...!!!#$@$
So, that marks the end of this long post(couldnt believe i sit through 2 hours for this. lol. took too much of photos it seems =x)
Pretty much i would invite you to take a look on my flickr account as other pictures that arent showed here will be there as well. BUT being technical problem(which i pretty much sniff a lack of internet connection, my room's connection to the internet always sucks) it cant even upload a 1/20 of the collection, i pretty much gave up the thought of it...so yea.
Photo taken with : My pathetic camera phone (measly 2.0 mega pixels D:) but surprisingly, it's pretty clear on the computer.
